You can edit the name, date, category or amount of your transactions simply by tapping on the transaction.
Options for editing the Transaction Tag on debits include Non-Essential (affects Spendable), Recurring Expenses, Don’t Count and Transfers. If you don’t want a transaction to count against your spendable (such as something you’ll be reimbursed for), mark it as “Don’t count”.
Options for editing the Transaction Tag on credits include Income and Credit. Income are recurring credits that you count on as part of your income. Credits may be reimbursements, gifts or returns.
Credit card payments are marked as transfers and therefore don’t affect your Spendable because the transactions affect your spendable as you make the purchases on your credit card.
You might change the date of a transaction if your bank cleared it on a different day than it actually occurred. You might change an amount if, for example, a friend reimburses you in cash for part of your dinner out.
Changing the date, amount or category of a transaction can affect your Spendable.
