1. How much longer will I be able to use Level Money?
The Level Money service will be shutting down on September 1st, 2017.
2. What happens until that day?
Level Money has been removed from the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store so we won’t be supporting any new installs of the application. If you uninstall the app from your device, you may not be able to reinstall it.
The app will be supported for current users until August 31st, 2017, after which we will shut it down permanently. At that point, transaction updates will cease, and you will no longer be able to use the application.
3. What will happen to my financial data when Level Money shuts down?
We will purge login credentials and associated transaction history for all accounts held outside of Capital One.
4. Is there any way to export my Level data?
Unfortunately, there is no way to export your transaction information from Level. We recommend that you manually record any information you would like to retain from the application prior to August 31st, 2017, as the application will be unavailable after that time.
5. If I want to, can I deactivate my Level Money account now?
Yes. On the Level Money mobile app, navigate to Menu > Settings > Delete Profile.
6. But I depend on Level! Where can I get similar features to help me manage my finances?
We have heard good things about several apps that are available to help you manage your personal finances:
On the iPhone, we recommend going to the App Store -> Featured -> Categories -> Finance -> Manage Your Personal Finances
On Android, we recommend going to Google Play -> Apps -> Finance -> Manage Your Money Wisely
For Capital One 360 Savings customers looking for Level Saving functionality, we would recommend setting up a Capital One Automated Savings Plan at www.capitalone.com.
7. What if I have other questions? How can I get help?
If you aren’t able to find the answer to your questions here in the Help Center, our support desk will still be live until August 31st. Our support team will be available to answer questions via in-app secured messaging until that time.
For security purposes, we will not be servicing requests submitted via other channels. To contact our support team, login to the app and navigate to Menu > Settings > Contact Support.
If you are having difficulty logging into your account prior to September 1st and need to contact our support team, the likely reason is that your account email or password is incorrect. If you find yourself in this situation, you may create a new account in order to message us from within the app so that we can help.
